Great News!!
The Town of Seven Devils has been notified the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) has awarded us a $500,000 grant for improvements to The Park at Seven Devils.This is a matching grant, and the Tourism Development Authority (TDA) has been setting funds aside to pay our half of the award.
Jewel McKinney, Parks and Recreation Director, spearheaded this successful effort and is to be commended along with the Park's Visionary Group and Town Staff. Thank you Jewel for all your hard work!
We have three years to complete the improvements at The Park at Seven Devils, so don't be surprised when you see construction beginning as early as next summer. Included in the plans for park improvements are restroom facilities, picnic pavilion, children's playground, event stage, PARS course and a dog park.
