Ranger Workshop - Animal Camouflage

-

How many times have you walked past something and not realized it was there until it was pointed out to you, or it moved? Many creatures in nature use their coloration and size to help hide from other creatures. Join us to learn how animals use camouflage in the wild and how to be more attentive when hiking out on the trails to notice more creatures than what is right on the trail. After the presentation attendees will get to try to find several animals in the area around where the program is held

This program will be led by Ranger Amelia from Grandfather Mountain State Park.
